La survenue de ce sympt\u00f4me augmente avec l\u2019\u00e2ge et touche souvent les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es. Cependant, aussi les enfants, les personnes ayant des probl\u00e8mes de mastication ou touch\u00e9s par la dysphagie, les personnes alit\u00e9es ou encore les femmes enceintes peuvent \u00eatre touch\u00e9es. Dans l\u2019absolu, les femmes souffrent plus souvent de constipations que les hommes.<\/p>\n<p>La constipation est d\u00e9finie comme une r\u00e9duction de la fr\u00e9quences des selles (&lt; 3 fois par semaine), une consistance dure des selles, des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 exon\u00e9rer et une sensation d\u2019\u00e9vacuation incompl\u00e8te.<sup>18<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-4 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>Diarrh\u00e9e<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Bien que les diarrh\u00e9es chroniques sont tr\u00e8s courantes, elles repr\u00e9sentent un probl\u00e8me clinique complexe et exigeant. Sous nos latitudes, le syndrome de l\u2019intestin irritable est la cause de diarrh\u00e9es la plus fr\u00e9quente.<sup>17<\/sup>\u00a0Les diarrh\u00e9es provoquent une perte consid\u00e9rable d\u2019eau et de nutriments.<\/p>\n<p>La diarrh\u00e9e est diagnostiqu\u00e9 lorsque la d\u00e9f\u00e9cation est \u00e9lev\u00e9e (3 fois par jour ou plus) et\/ou la consistance des selles est r\u00e9duite et \/ ou si le poids des selles est \u00e9lev\u00e9 (&gt;200g par jour).<sup>19<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-4 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3><strong>Syndrome de l'intestin irritable<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>5% \u00e0 20% de la population est atteinte par le syndrome de l\u2019intestin irritable, faisant de ce trouble gastro-intestinal le plus courant qui existe. Typiquement, les sympt\u00f4mes englobent la constipation, les diarrh\u00e9es, les ballonnements et flatulences ainsi que les douleurs abdominales. C\u2019est pourquoi le syndrome de l\u2019intestin irritable peut r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement la performance et la qualit\u00e9 de vie.<sup>14-16<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium color_alternate\" id=\"ernaehrung\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Nutrition<\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Une alimentation \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e et saine est extr\u00eamement importante au regard du syndrome de l\u2019intestin irritable.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">L'interaction entre l'alimentation et Digesan<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>Fibre est important. Parmi ces aliments, ceux riches en FODMAPs sont particuli\u00e8rement importants. Ce sont des aliments comme des l\u00e9gumes, fruits, c\u00e9r\u00e9ales ou produits laitiers qui contiennent des hydrates de carbone et sucres fermentables. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu\u2019un r\u00e9gime pauvre en FODMAPs attenue les sympt\u00f4mes associ\u00e9s au troubles gastro-intestinaux.
